The Protea Throw is woven from a mohair blend with a touch of wool to help the lustrous, shiny fibres hold together, plus a small amount of nylon for strength. Composition is typically 78% mohair, 13% wool and 9% nylon (this can vary slightly between pieces). This piece is in our Fluffy finish, hand-brushed to raise the fibres.
Available in White. The fibre is strong and resilient, lasting for years, while staying soft and cuddly to the touch, making these wonderfully light, warm throws.
Care: hand wash by gently moving the item around in cold water with a wool-friendly detergent. Never machine wash, as this will cause felting which will distort and shrink the throw.
Handwoven in South Africa.
