The Protea Throw is woven from a Mohair blend with a bit of wool to help the lustrous and shiny mohair fibres hold together, and a tiny bit of Nylon for strength (usually 78% Mohair, 13% Wool, 9% Nylon). Offered either Fluffy (hand brushed to raise the fibres) or as a Boucle with little curls all over.
Strong and resilient, lasting many years but ever so soft to the touch and cuddly. Makes a really light and toasty warm blanket.
Care: Hand wash by gently moving the item around in COLD water with wool friendly detergent. NEVER machine wash, as it will cause felting which will distort and shrink the throw.
