The Protea Throw is woven from a mohair blend with a touch of wool to help the lustrous, shiny fibres hold together, plus a small amount of nylon for strength. Composition is typically 78% mohair, 13% wool and 9% nylon (this can vary slightly between pieces). We offer these either Fluffy (hand-brushed to raise the fibres) or as a Boucle with little curls throughout.

Available in Dark Green. The fibre is strong and resilient, lasting for years, while staying soft and cuddly to the touch \u2014 these make wonderfully light, warm throws.

Care: hand wash by gently moving the item around in cold water with a wool-friendly detergent. Never machine wash, as this will cause felting which will distort and shrink the throw.
